Pumpkins, leaves, apples... it's Fall y'all! Fall is here and with that comes lots of family adventures! Need some inspiration on what to do with your little ones? Colorado is jam packed with fun things to do this season, and here are some of our favorites.
Anderson Farms in Erie has fun for all ages, including corn mazes, a petting zoo, barrel trains, and everything in between! You're sure to find an activity for everyone in the family to enjoy. And don't forget to take the wagon ride and grab a pumpkin from the 25 acre pumpkin patch! 🚜🧑🏼🌾
The Botanic Gardens in Littleton is packed with fun events for kids this fall! You can visit the Corn Maze (or mini maze for younger children!) from now through the end of October. 🌽🌾 You can also plan to attend their annual Pumpkin Festival in October where your family can enjoy a pumpkin patch hay rides, bouncy houses, and even face painting! 🎃
Farmers markets are a great way to get your kiddos outside and spending time with the family. 🍅🥦🥕You can get them engaged in picking out foods they may like or want to try, and even go home to cook some together! Colorado has many markets to choose from, including the Metro Denver Farmer's Markets in Littleton, Lakewood, and Highlands Ranch. If your family wants to drive further out, try out the Farmer's Markets in Broomfield and Boulder!
They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away, and at a Ya Ya Farm and Orchard in Boulder, your family can enjoy all things apple. Pick up the perfect snack for your little ones to enjoy. You can even indulge in some apple cider donuts or pies at the farm stand! 🍎🥧
Make your way down to the Denver Zoo so your child can explore all the wild supernatural beings. As you walk the trail, you can admire creature-themed professional pumpkin carvings, while munching on some of your fall favorite treats! Stay past sundown, and your family can enjoy the brand new Trick-or-Treat Trail! 👻 There will be candy stations, a dance party, and photo ops!
