THIS IS US
PHILOSOPHY
At our core, we are curious, humble, and playful, driven to learn from every experiment, collaboration, and experience. As educators, we believe we have much to teach and even more to learn. We understand that each child has unique needs and interests and our teachers work with your child's natural inclination to foster a well-rounded development in a safe and caring environment.
A NOTE ABOUT US
Parenting is hard. Period.

The Summit Academy was founded by Andy and Natalie Suñer after experiencing firsthand how challenging it can be to raise a child far from family and a trusted support system. That experience shaped a simple but powerful vision: to create an early learning community that feels like an extension of home—supportive, nurturing, and deeply connected.

As The Summit Academy continues to grow, we have expanded our footprint alongside Jamie and Shane Peters, who serve as managing partners. Jamie and Shane share our deep commitment to early childhood education, community, and creating environments where children and families truly thrive. Their values and leadership strengthen our mission and the work we do every day.
Together, our team is building something special.
The Summit Academy is tiny, but mighty—made up of dedicated educators, trusted caregivers, and
partners that families lean on daily to love, guide, and support their children.
We’re honored to be part of your village.

ANDRES (ANDY) SUÑER
I make crazy ideas come to life. Don't believe me? Just ask my wife. Over the past decade I've driven a team of incredible educators who work tirelessly to provide quality early childcare programs in the Denver Metro Area.

NATALIE CUENCA SUÑER
Born and raised in Miami, FL to immigrant parents, I graduated from FSU with a Master’s in Planning, while working as an elementary school teacher for Leon County. I credit my teaching experience for fueling my fire for education.

SHANE PETERS
Dad, coach, and master of the snack schedule. After years of mentoring kids through sports, I took my passion for guiding and developing young minds into the classroom—helping start early childhood education centers that focus on community, growth, and connection.

JAMIE PETERS
My work in childcare began as a part-time early child care teacher, student mentor and camp lead teacher while building a career in operations and leadership. To foster my passion for early childhood education, I was inspired to open a center where children can learn, grow, and discover their unique potential.
